TESLA - cool car or overpriced?

Our CEO just bought a new TESLA. He had a charging station installed in his house for it. Are these TESLA cars super cool or just over-priced toys?

But, not really. For a car, over-priced. For an electric car that still looks cool and gets free charges around the nation: priced rather modestly. The problem with electric cars in gneral is that the batteries are made using lithium. There is not enough high-concentration lithium in the world to produce very many of those batteries. After a point it becomes so expensive to make the batteries it becomes impractical.
The cell phones and laptop makers - the producers of thongs battery-powered HATE companies like TESLA because if TESLA were to succeed it would drive UP the price of batteries and eventually kill the obscene profits tech companies are making from the slave labor in China. |
