NuForce made a name for themselves selling cheap hi qual class D amps.

I studied this stuff bunches lately. looking for a new system

cant say about the AVP-18 - only that its strange - seems nobody carries it anymore something must be up with that

Emotiva is just good audio at a good price. unless you know someone with a NuForce unit that impresses you - which it seems you do not - going purely on what you can garner from the internet - i'd wtick with Emotiva - they're more widely known
