I want to buy a new audio system. Last time I did that I went to Circuit City and bought a pair of Infiniy speakers and an Onkyo receiver that lasted me over 20 years. There is no Circuit City today. Just Best Buy. And nobody there understands old-school audio. Where to go?

justDoIt Wed, Oct 15, 2014 4:07 PM Best thing 2 do is go online - Crutchfield a good start - study the products. Lurk on a few audio forums and see what people are talking about. Some of the forums people list as part of their profile the gear in their system - use that as a guide - lots of them folks are audiophiles who know there stuff. if you want hi end gear go to AudioGon and look at what for sale. that's the good stuff. justDoIt Fri, Jul 3, 2015 7:03 PM did you ever get the audio system? |
