Dial-Up Internet ???

Does anyone - anywhere - still use DIAL-UP internet? I do not know anyone who does not at least have DSL if not cable internet. Point being - we all have high-speed. In fact - the land-line phones are dying. Not worth maintaining them. Everyone has cell phones now. I do not even have a land line for a land line phone even if I wanted one. The only choice I have besides a cell phone is VOIP over my internet connection - which is cable.

justDoIt Sat, Feb 14, 2015 3:20 PM I think dial-up still exists in many other countries. I suspect it's still being used in the USA if you get away from the populated areas. I know a guy at work who said in W VA they still had dialup internet thru the phone company. I think he lived on the side of a mountain though |
